Chef Gabriel Colunga

Executive Chef Gabriel Colunga is a highly skilled culinary professional with a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. Gabriel's menu design and culinary artistry cater to diverse tastes, while his expertise in managing catering for banquets and events leaves lasting impressions. With a sturdy foundation in culinary education and a strategic approach to kitchen management, Gabriel is an invaluable asset to any culinary team, currently serving as the Executive Chef at Le Méridien Hotel Arcadia since September 2022.

Gabriel's passion for culinary excellence and commitment to customer service is evident in his previous roles, including Chef De Cuisine at DoubleTree Hotel Los Angeles and Sous Chef at Villa Blanca Restaurant in Beverly Hills. He excels in maintaining high-quality standards, adherence to safety and sanitation protocols, and managing food purchasing and expenses. With an Associate of Arts degree in culinary arts and a successful externship at Michael's Santa Monica, Gabriel highlights talent, dedication, and proven ability to deliver exceptional culinary experiences and guest satisfaction.
